Inking the roses


Little by little the secret of the garden emerges....

  2. Thanks Tammie, I wish I could improvise them directly in ink. Now I have to go over all these tiny roses and since I mostly work in front of the TV with limited illumination, I have taken to use a flash light from my cell phone to better see all the miniature work.

    1. yes, would be so good to be able to draw in ink the first time.... oh well.
      have you considered one of those headlamp flashlights? or maybe your phone works just fine.

  3. Beautiful!! Your roses are gorgeous. I just painted some roses today so I sure can appreciate how much work goes into them.

    1. I saw your gorgeous lady with roses. I love roses and they are very special to me in many different ways. Surely though their intricate petals are both fun and a pain to draw. There are lots of roses in this one drawing...I am almost done with the inking and I am thinking how long will it take me to color them all!

    1. Let's see what happens when I start coloring them... while inking I was looking forward to start with the markers, but now that I am ready to color, I am afraid I'll ruin everything...wish me luck!
