29 Faces
Many many thanks to Ayala for bringing back the challenge. As always, it has been extremely enjoyable to see the beautiful art, meeting new art loving folks, and practice freely, for the sake of exercise. I don't know about you, but I definitely need more of that in my life.
Thank you to those who visited and especially to those who left comments: you guys made my day every time!
See you soon!
Wow! What a super ending to a whole set of gorgeous pencil sketches. I've just gone back to see them all and it's lovely artwork. You have such a soft pretty style and these faces are wonderful. Love the ending one in color too, very sweet!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Now I wonder if I will retain anything I learned this month and if I'll be somehow able to use it in my regular drawings...;)
ReplyDeleteApart from being so beautifully drawn, your faces always have such strength of character, and look like portraits of real people. The wavy-haired girl is lovely, and the tonal shading is perfect. What a great idea to create the drawing for Bella in a child-like vision that will mean more to her than any other kind of drawing would, so clever.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jez...sometimes Bella is so insistent on having me drawing for her and I don't know if I should indulge her or not. She takes out her markers, puts the in my hand and says: Car! or Boat! or Daddy! Am I interfering with the development of her own skills?
Deletesuch gorgeous faces
ReplyDeletei love their eyes and cheek bones
such a sweet family piece too
such a lucky daughter to have you as her mum
Thank you Tammy..let's ask her again when she'll be 15! :D
